Houston yards are hard on irrigation
Gumbo clay swells when it's wet and shrinks when it's dry, and that movement is what pulls fittings apart and cracks PVC over time. Add flat lots that hold water and long stretches of summer heat, and a system that was rushed at installation shows it fast. We'd rather do the layout right the first time than come back to it.
