A patio is only as good as what's under it

Clay soil moves, and hardscape laid straight onto it moves with it — that's why so many patios end up uneven and weedy at the joints. Base prep, edging and giving water a path off the surface are what keep the finished job flat.

Before you call.

What kinds of paving do you do?

Brick and concrete pavers, natural flagstone, stepping stones and stone borders — patios, front walks, side-yard paths and pool surrounds.

Can a new patio be tied into drainage?

Yes. We set channel drains into patios and walkways so runoff has a path away from the house instead of pooling on the new surface.

Do you do the planting around the patio too?

Yes — beds, borders and sod are in-house, so the hardscape and the planting get finished together rather than in two separate trips.
